Barb shared her story.
“I have included my favorite photo while walking on a wooded trail in Wiesbaden, Germany. My husband is stationed there is a civilian employee for the U.S. Army and I joined him for a two month visit. I’m planning my return in 2021.
Wiesbaden is a beautiful city with lots of activities and culture. Unfortunately, COVID-19 interfered. I have so many photos I wanted to include but I thought this one projected a peaceful sense of intimacy. I was walking to a nearby Russian Orthodox Church when I happened upon this beautiful weeping willow overhanging a small pond.
I really learned that in Germany one can live in a city and still have the intimacy of nature and an occasional castle as well. Walking, hiking and nature are so important.”
