Fun Facts About Canadian and Finnish Passports
The next time you’re going through passport control at an airport, be on the lookout for the actual art and design of foreign passports.
It’s not just about how they look, but it’s how they’re designed to prevent forgeries.
The Canadian passport seems like a typical design with the Royal Coat of Arms of Canada printed on the front, and each page depicts unique images. When a black light is shined on the pages, the artwork lights up almost as a hologram.
Speaking of colorful passports, another distinctive passport is that of Finland. Although the exterior is dull, the interior of the Finnish design is actually a flipbook. And if you flip quickly, you will see a reindeer trot along the bottom right corner. If the reindeer isn’t trotting, the passport is a fake.
