Drive-Thru Halloween Experiences in 2020

Halloween might be looking a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean you have to be stuck at home. In a socially-distanced world, you can now experience haunted drive-thrus from the safety of your car.

In Chicago, there’s the Alley of Darkness, a drive-thru haunting in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, where your car will be surrounded by zombies and demons and covered in buckets of fake blood. Tickets are $75, if you book in advance.

In Northern Virginia, there’s a drive-thru terror put on by the Workhouse Arts Center, where you’ll encounter creepy clowns, swamp creatures and other halloween haunts. Tickets are $60 per car.

And in Southern California, there’s the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, a drive-up experience that combines elements of a drive-in movie as well as characters off-the-screen that make the story larger than life. Tickets start at $50 per car.
