Once we start traveling again, certain behaviors will probably not change. And that means we will want to take our dogs on many of our trips.

There are now some apps to help make that happen.

BringFido is an app that provides a list of hotels that will accept your dog staying with you overnight, restaurants where you can take your dog without violating local ordinances, and special activities in cities that allow your dog to accompany you.

Another app, Dog Park Pal, not only pinpoints the closest dog parks but also gives you the best and safest times to go.

Perhaps most important, the Red Cross has a Pet First Aid app that includes videos, quizzes and a directory of veterinary services for everyday emergencies on the road to assist your pet first-hand.
