With more and more people traveling on connecting flights, I now judge airports around the world as to which offers the best layover experiences and options.

And many of the airports at the top of my layover list are in Asia.

Incheon International Airport in South Korea has multiple short tour options to nearby attractions like temples and local markets.

Singapore Changi Airport has an extensive list of attractions including an indoor waterfall, butterfly garden and a free 24-hour movie theater. The airport even offers a free city tour if your layover is more than four hours.

The Hong Kong International Airport, for those total Mickey Mouse fanatics, is only about 10 miles away from Disneyland.
