Healthier Food Options at Amusement Parks
Up until recently, most theme parks were not known for either the quality, the variety or the nutritional value of food.
But that now seems to be changing with healthy menus, celebrity chefs and even private food tours.
At Disneyland, there are now a wide variety of excellent food trucks, even a wine bar with 100 types to choose from.
Knott’s Berry Farm, another prominent amusement park, offers year-long dining and drinking plans for the hardcore visitors. It even provides healthy food options and vegan selections.
Universal Studios also caters towards its health-conscious guests by using symbols on its menus that signify which items are gluten-free, vegetarian, and prepared with reduced calories.
Although, I must warn you. Deep fried treats are still everywhere at theme parks, but things are slowly getting healthier.
