We are spending more and more time stuck in our cars when we travel.

It’s not exactly a news bulletin that traffic is getting worse. But if you’re traveling out of town, it might help to know which cities have the worst traffic in order to plan accordingly.

So which city has the worst traffic? It might surprise you.

It’s….Moscow. Drivers there spend an average of 210 hours a year… just sitting. Number two is Istanbul, followed by Bogota, and Mexico City.

Where do U.S. cities rate? If you think the worst is Los Angeles, then think again. It’s Boston, where drivers lose 164 hours a year to traffic congestion, followed by Washington D.C. Chicago, and New York.
