Nightlife in Warsaw — Web Extra of Poland: The Royal Tour
Warsaw, Poland was once described as the “Paris of the North.” Then came war, followed by the Soviet Union. Today, Warsaw is enjoying a remarkable turnaround and attracts millions of visitors annually.
Hala Koszyki is Warsaw‘s foodie market. Originally built at the turn of the last century, it was commonly known as the “people’s bazaar.” Koszycki translates to “basket” as this was the original site of a farm and market.
Today, the hall is a modern food market with 18 dining options that feature international cuisines.
And in the middle of the hall, you’ll find Bar Koszyki. Here, you can order a “lemonade with doodah” meaning drinks based on presecco wine or a “classical contraption,” which is gin with tonic and cucumber. And don’t forget to order the “Koszyki,” a cocktail with a secret recipe.
