Cow Cuddling: The Latest in Animal Therapy
Are you a stressed traveler?
You might have noticed that more and more airports have brought in therapy dogs to walk the terminals — animals you can pet and hug in order to hopefully lower your anxiety levels before or after a flight. But the cuddling therapy for travelers doesn’t stop at the airport. It’s on the road as well.
At Mountain Horse Farm in Upstate New York, you can get a 60-minute cow cuddling session. Visitors spend $75 for the opportunity to get up close and personal with a 1,000 pound cow.
In fact, the farm’s website claims the cows sense if you’re happy, sad or anxious and respond without judgment or ego.
Quick, get those cows to the airport!
