And those months are January and September with January fares dropping 31% and September fares down 25%.

What are the best deals for January? That would be Cincinnati, Las Vegas and Denver. And how about for September? Check out Fort Lauderdale, Hawaii and Savannah.

And not surprisingly, the most expensive month to fly is July when average fares are $424 and will go higher.
