Hidden Gems of Baja California Sur

I’ve been heading down to Baja California Sur since I was 23 and for good reason. First, I love the water and I love boats. But second, smart travelers have learned that the minute you leave the water, and most visitors don’t, you’re in store for some unexpected thrills and surprises. And that’s where you’ll find the hidden gems of Baja California Sur.

San Jose Del Cabo Church
When you’re tired of the sand, take a walk through the cobblestone streets of the historic town center where you’ll find a church that dates back to the 1700s.
San Jose Del Cabo Art Scene
The neighborhood is filled with old colonial buildings, but you’ll also find eclectic boutiques and a surprising and growing art scene. There are around 15 galleries within a four block radius.
Cabo Pulmo National Park
If you drive about two hours Northeast from Los Cabos, you’ll find the Cabo Pulmo National Park on the Sea of Cortez. Here, you can snorkel or dive the waters in the 27-acre marine reserve where you might see—among many other things—giant rays, whale sharks, schools of snapper, and hammerhead sharks.
