I work for a major U.S. carrier. And I think I speak on behalf of a lot of flight attendants out there when I say, enough is enough.
When did we become onboard babysitters? Not only is it frustrating for us when your kids are running around the airplane, it’s also very disruptive for passengers.
Secondly, what happened to etiquette? No one wants to see you give yourself an onboard pedicure. If you want to clip your toenails at 35,000 feet, I’m going to ask you to please step outside.
I know airplane food isn’t the best. So if you want to bring on your own food, please make sure it is not cooked. Because no one wants to smell a half-eaten bag of McDonalds, halfway through the flight.
It all comes down to basic good manners and common sense. So the only thing I’m asking you to do, is to be aware, be smart, and behave!
