Fitting in a workout on the road isn’t always easy, especially when the hotel gym leaves something to be desired. But there are new ways you can work out once you’ve reached your destination.
ClassPass is a service that gets you into multiple fitness classes. You pay a flat monthly fee of $99 for access to workout classes in 30 U.S. cities. So you can drop in for yoga in Austin, indoor cycling in Chicago, and Pilates in Los Angeles.
GymAround is another service, and by joining, you get short-term, discount memberships to gyms in 30 cities around the world. So if you just need a one-day gym pass while you’re in town, you can get one for about $20, instead of the much more expensive day rate.
Otherwise, you can download workout apps. The Wherever Workout app tailors the exercise based on where you are: an airport, hotel, even an airplane seat, so you have no more excuses.
