In Tuscany, you can learn to hunt for truffles at Castel Monastero. You walk through the fields with a trained forager and his truffle-sniffing dogs to dig them up.

Blackberry Farm in Tennessee is known for food—everything from cooking classes to cheese making. But you can also learn how to operate a horse-drawn carriage. You’ll not just ride one, but drive one.

Or, just head to a Club Med resort and chances are you’ll find a trapeze school. Hey, I told you some of these were pretty out there.
