Ever walked into a hotel and said, “I wish I had one of those!”? For years, hotels have been selling items from guest rooms—everything from beds to bathroom fixtures. People love it. So now hotels are creating other signature items for sale and you can take home hotel branded items.

Langham Hotels, which are known for their afternoon tea service, developed four tea blends that you can bring home.

The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona, has a huge collection of tequilas. So they went ahead and made a signature tequila, called El Tesoro Paradiso. It’s aged for 8 years, and trust me, this is the good stuff.

And if you’ve noticed how good some hotel lobbies can smell, chances are, it was done on purpose. Hotel brands like W, Westin and Le Meridien all have their own customs scents that you can bring home in the form of candles and sprays.

Of course, most of this stuff isn’t cheap. The hotels figure if you’re going to buy a keepsake, it may as well have their name on it—and you’re a captive audience. So don’t purchase anything on impulse. Only buy it upon checkout when you already have the hotel bill in front of you.
