7. Volunteering and Free Food in Illinois
Join the U.S Forest Service and The Nature Conservancy at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie for a day of restoration. Volunteers will harvest seeds, remove invasive plants, clean up trails and collect aquatic insects. At the end of the day, volunteers will be provided with a free hotdog lunch and participate in raffles.
