From the dangerous to the playfully absurd, Collette Torunyan shares the top 10 most bizarre sports you’ve never heard of and should try to see when you travel.

1. Limbo skating

How low can you go? Probably not nearly as low as some kids that have been limbo skating since they were toddlers. Limbo skating is a sport in which a person roller-skates underneath an obstacle such as a horizontal pole or a docile vehicle without touching it. In order to contort their bodies in such a way to get low enough, the athletes must spread their legs apart into a full split and lean their upper body forward with their face almost touching the ground. This sport, popular in regions such as China and India, may seem like fun and games but requires the flexibility, strength, and balance that is asked of a gymnast. The current unofficial record holder is Aniket Chindak, a nine-year-old boy that can skate under 57 cars in 45 seconds.
