San Vito (Sicily)

With 620 miles of coastline, Sicily is home to many stunning beaches but San Vito Lo Capo surely has some of the clearest water you will see anywhere on the island. Set on a bay in the shadow of Monte Cofano (a limestone cliff), the beach is within a few hundred feet of San Vito’s small center. The town hosts a couscous festival in September. What a combination – great views, great water, great food.
