Signing up for a discount travel club may seem like a good idea, but there are certain things you need to know before you join.
Travel clubs can offer significant discounts for some of your most basic travel needs, but it really depends on how you like to travel, how often you like to travel, the number of people in your party, then, maybe a travel club could result in considerable savings.
Many of the clubs have all negotiated contracts with hotel chains which result in lower rates and perks like free breakfast. Members can also benefit from group discount tickets to theaters, museums and traveling with like-minded individuals.
There can be a downside. When you signing up with a travel club, you lose the right to plan all your vacation’s details.
While a lot of travel clubs require some kind of yearly membership fee, there are a select few who do not charge their members anything to join. You need to do your homework before joining and then you can sign on the dotted line.
