When it comes to racecar driving, there are those who prefer to watch from afar, and those who want to get behind the wheel. If you’re somewhere in between, here’s how you can get the thrill without doing the heavy lifting.

Named after its co-owner and racing legend, The Richard Petty Driving Experience offers Ride-Along at more than 20 NASCAR locations–that includes the Atlanta Motor Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway. The experience costs just over $100, and you get to speed up to 165 miles an hour riding shotgun with a professional driver.

Monster Racing in Delaware has a riding experience at the Dover International Speedway. For $99, you get to race through four laps around the track with a pro behind the wheel.

For speeds beyond belief, try The Indy Racing Experience Two-Seat Ride at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which takes you up to a whopping 180 miles per hour.

Of course, facilities like this will also let you take the wheel for a much higher fee.

But you know what I like about these ride-alongs? It takes you from being a spectator to a participant, but the only pressure is dealing with those insane G-forces!
