Vintage Car Tours Today

Locations in this article:  Paris, France

If you’re a car enthusiast, or are looking for a unique twist on the driving experience, why not try renting a vintage model car on your next trip?

Back in the early 20th century, Citroen became one of the first mass production car companies outside of the U.S.

And today, you can still get the Citroen experience when you travel to France.

Head to Paris or Lyons and you can try out an old Citroen 2CV Tour.

It costs about $100 for a 90-minute tour for three, with a personal chauffeur.

The convertible top and small size of the vehicle allow for up-close views that you could never get on a bus tour.

Sprintage Classic Cars Touring offers classic car rentals throughout Italy. You can opt for a personal guide or take advantage of a driving program to drive yourself through the region.

This one doesn’t come cheap–it can cost about $2,500 for two days.

And, of course, it’s possible to get the vintage car experience closer to home.

Yosemite T-Tours near Yosemite National Park operates June through October.

Four hundred bucks will get you a tour of the area in a Model T or Model A Roadster for the day, or you can purchase that also include accommodations, meals and activities.

When you roll the top down on the Model T 1922, it’s a ride you won’t soon forget.
