Vladimir Putin
Prime Minister, Russia

Vladimir PutinVladimir Putin, the former President and current Prime Minister of Russia, is a former KGB officer. While the office of the President is technically the most powerful in Russia, few doubt that Putin remains the power behind the throne.

In addition to neutralizing his political opposition and bending the Russian state to his will, Putin seems to enjoy having his picture taken in various manly poses, including a rather famous shirtless set taken during a fly fishing trip to Siberia.

And Putin is probably the only world leader to claim to have saved people from a tiger attack. While on a visit to a nature reserve, a tiger escaped its harness and charged toward a TV crew. Putin reportedly shot the tiger with a tranquilizer gun before it could maul any bystanders.

Though some commentators found the incident suspect and likely staged, it’s hard to imagine any other world leader even attempting this sort of stunt.

Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner
President, Argentina

Cristina KirchnerCristina Fernandez de Kirchner is, in some ways, the Hillary Clinton of Latin America. Elected President of Argentina in 2007, she succeeded her husband Nestor Kirchner to the post.

Cristina Kirchner, as she’s commonly known, does not share with America’s current Secretary of State a particular fondness for pantsuits, favoring outfits that have made her into something of a fashion plate.

And what presidential family would be complete without a photogenic daughter? In this case, it’s Florencia Kirchner, who posted a wealth of photos of herself online, much to the chagrin of her presidential parents. Click here for Page 5
