Economical RV Travel

With gas prices still way too high, it’s not exactly a news bulletin that RV sales are down. After all, what’s an RV if not a gas station on four wheels?

But believe it or not, RVs can also be an economical way to travel.

A recent study showed that you can save up to 60 percent every time you travel in one because you’re not spending money on airline tickets, hotel rooms and eating out.

As a result, RV rentals are up, about 18 percent.

End of the summer is a good time to think about buying a used RV, when the rates are down.

So, if you like the people you’re traveling with, do the math: Even if gas is $8 a gallon, traveling by RV can still save you money.
