A long layover means more than hours at Starbucks. If you’re stuck in a big city hub, go check out a new city.
You can take a taxi to the nearest hot spot, as video correspondent Alyssa Caverly did trading in Los Angeles International Airport for Venice Beach, California. Or you can take a layover tour.
If you’re stuck at LAX, hop on a Starline bus. It takes you through downtown LA and Hollywood to see famous spots like the Grauman’s Chinese Theater and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
London Magical Tours departs from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, with three and seven hour-tours of central London starting at $60.
