Travel Tip: Loyalty Programs for Frequent Travelers
We’re all addicted to frequent flyer and frequent stay programs.
But there are a number of them out there you might not know about.
The Leaders Club is a membership program from The Leading Hotels of the World. It’s got 375 in 75 countries, and it costs $150 a year. But that gets you upgraded rooms, free Wi-Fi, and breakfast for two each day.
Then there’s something called Stash Hotel Rewards. It represents a number of independent hotels in the U.S., Panama, and the Caribbean. It’s free to join this points program, and you earn five points per dollar spent. There are no blackout dates or expiration dates, and you redeem those points for free rooms.
Priority Pass is an airport lounge program, not a loyalty program, but it gains you access to its 850 clubs at airports around the world, no matter which airline you’re flying. If you’re a frequent international traveler and find yourself on some unusual airlines in some unusual airports, the $399 annual fee can be well worth it.
