Peter Greenberg Takes Just A Drop’s 6 Steps Challenge

This year, international water aid charity Just A Drop is asking everyone to take their 6 Steps Challenge. Why? In some areas, water is a scarce natural resource, and finding clean water that’s safe to drink can be a challenge.

Consider this: according to Just a Drop, Women and children in developing countries spend an estimated 200 million hours each day collecting water. They often walk an average of 6 km, in the searing heat, hauling heavy water which can weigh up to 25 kg. The water they are rewarded with is often filthy and can cause life threatening illnesses.

Water is often carried on the heads of women and children. Naturally, with such a scarce resource, it is vital not to spill a drop.

Peter Greenberg accepted the 6 Steps Challenge, and then challenged the following three people to do the same: Matthew Upchurch of Virtuoso, Jennifer Fox of Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, and Ted Teng of The Leading Hotels of the World.
