For example, consider Frontier Airlines.
The company’s Airbus 321 planes will now each have 230 seats—that’s 44 more seats than the previous Airbus model.
Other low cost airlines are also cramming more seats into coach—but not every airline.
After numerous complaints, British Airways is taking a different approach with the configuration of its new 787 Dreamliners.
The airline is adding half an inch to the width of economy class seats. It will also add an extra inch of leg room for coach passengers.
The current economy class seats on British Airways measure just 16.8 inches across—one of the most narrow seats in the industry.
Sit back…if you can.
