Airport Pet Hotels

It’s not easy to find a pet-friendly airport hotel, but did you know that there are airport hotels designed only for animals?

You may know that I don’t recommend letting pets travel in the cargo hold of airplanes—it’s too dangerous.

But, the good news is that there are boarding facilities close to airports, so you can drop off Fido or Fluffy on your way.

Paradise4Paws is located about three miles from Chicago O’Hare, starting at $25 a night.

You’ll find a doggie swimming pool, spa services and cage-free environments.

You can even park your car at the hotel, and they’ll shuttle you to the airport.

Pet Paradise Resort offers boarding near international airports in Jacksonville, Houston and New Orleans.

And, the PetSmart chain has its own PetsHotel in more than 27 states, with rates starting at $21 a night.

On-call vets and 24-hour supervision help give you peace of mind while you’re gone.
