There’s actually some good news out there when it comes to the price of air tickets.

In fact, we’re seeing some of the cheapest flights in six years.

A recent study, by online travel agent Hopper, combined the search data for every origin and destination in the United States. It was able to predict the best destinations in the United States in terms of low airline fares.

The top three destinations that are most likely to drop in price are Austin, Texas; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and New York City, New York.

The top destinations abroad are Reykjavik, Iceland; Bangkok, Thailand; and Cancun, Mexico.

Obviously, this doesn’t apply to the Wednesday before Thanksgiving or ticket prices for flights between December 17th and January 4th, but for all other dates, it will help you to plan a more affordable trip.
