3.     Biathlon

Who wouldn’t want to compete in a sport where you cross-country ski while carrying a loaded rifle to shoot at different targets? This year, the 2014 Winter Olympics opens the competition to both men and women. To test your aim on the biathalon course, you will find classes and camps in several different states. One option is Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, where anyone from age 13 can participate in an hour-long biathlon course.
