Photo of the Week — May 8, 2025
Congratulations to this week’s winner, Sandra Collins!
Sandra writes:
“We just returned from Vietnam and we went to some out of the way rural places which were beautiful. This is a photo of a small sliver of Paradise Cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. The stalactites and stalagmites make you feel like you are in an huge alien world. Largest cave systems in the world with one cave having its own microclimate! The park is off the beaten tourist path but it is well worth the effort to see the caves and the beautiful Limestone Karsts which has the longest river cave in this area of North Central Vietnam. Better and less crowded in my opinion than Halong/Lan Ha Bay.”
