AirTags Help Track Lost Luggage: A Gamechanger for Travelers

If you’re like me, you approach air travel with this caution: There are only two kinds of airline bags…carry-on and lost.

But if you have to check your bags — and I admit I often check bags — the advent of AirTags has certainly helped locate lost luggage. In many cases, travelers know before the airlines do where their mishandled bags can be found.

And now, Apple has added a new feature to their AirTags — an option to share the bags’ location. They’ve partnered with more than 15 airlines — including Delta, United, British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, and Qantas. It won’t stop the airlines from losing your bags, but now both you — and the airlines — have a head start on finding them and returning them.
