The United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network has recently released its world happiness report.

It reveals the world’s happiest countries for 2023.

Finland took the top spot for the sixth year in a row with the other Nordic nations all sitting in the top ten. Its GDP per capita, generosity, and social support are all contributing reasons why this area of the world seems to be so happy.

The US made the top 20 sitting at 15, with our northern neighbors, Canada, sitting at 13.

Afghanistan ranked as the least happy country. One contributing factor for Afghanistan — its average life evaluation was a full five points lower than many other nations.
