Photo of the Week — January 27, 2023

Congratulations to this week’s photo of the week winner, Danna Dearborn!

Danna writes, “It is located between Captiva Island and Boca Grande and Cabbage Key. The island is only assessable by private or chartered boat or possibly a helicopter. We were staying at Cabbage Key Inn and we took two of their kayaks over through the mangroves to the next island, Cayo Costa. It is pretty much a deserted island except for a small state park camping area in the on the far end of it. We saw no people. The state park has 12 rustic cabins and no electricity. This photo captures the absolute peace and serenity of nature without any people. There was only water, sky, sand, a few trees and birds.”
