Need a New Passport or a Renewal? Take My Advice

Do you need a new passport or have to get an expiring or expired one renewed?

 

While there are no more federal COVID lockdowns at the 26 regional U.S. passport offices, that doesn’t mean there aren’t still backlogs and staff shortages.

 

According to the U.S. State Department, the average time to get a passport is between six to nine weeks.

 

And that’s if you’ve already had a passport.

 

Passports for first time travelers take even longer. So, don’t procrastinate. Look at the calendar. If you want to travel overseas this summer, start that application process now. Then do what I do. Ask for a 52 page passport and not the lesser page version.
