It’s the fourth quarter and many airfares are starting to drop. But if you’re flying in first class, the fares on some airlines just went up — way up.
Flying Los Angeles to Melbourne on Qantas will set you back $15,000, but it also includes a massage in the airport lounge.
If you think that’s expensive, one ultra first class roundtrip ticket from New York to Dubai on Emirates costs $30,000 — complete with chauffeur limousine to and from the airport, unlimited Dom Perignon and caviar.
On Etihad Airlines, the price jumps to $64,000. For that ticket you get your own three-room suite, complete with butler, queen size bed, and let’s not forget the onboard private shower.
Let’s just hope they don’t charge for checked baggage.
