What to Do If You Lose Your Vaccine Card

Not too long ago, traveler concerns were about losing their passports while traveling and their options.

Today, you can add vaccine cards to the list.

So what if you lose that card? First, you should always make three photocopies of your card (you can also photograph it on your cell phone).

Keep one copy in your carry-on bag, give one copy to your travel companion and keep one copy at home where a loved one or relative has easy access.

But in a worse case scenario, what if you lose it entirely? Keep in mind that all COVID-19 vaccination providers are required to report data within 72 hours to their state’s immunization system so there is always a backup record. Just contact the location where you received the shot.
