The Essentials

When You Can Go to the National Parks for Free

Inflation has hit the travel industry, not just the general economy.

And everything is about to cost more.

But if you plan properly, you can still take advantage of at least one freebie from the U.S. government.

The National Park Service still offers free entrance days at our national parks.

Ranging from January 17th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, to April 16th, the first day of National Park Week.

Then mark down August 4th on your calendar, because parks are free on the anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act.

And also, you get free entrance on National Public Lands Day on September 24th.

Rounding out the year, the parks are also free on November 11th, Veterans Day.
