Each year, the United Nations releases its World Happiness Report, where a country’s quality of life is rated on a scale of one to ten — ranging from GDP, life expectancy, trust and corruption and generosity.
This year, Austria ranked the 10th happiest — high scores for life expectancy.
New Zealand came in 9th for workplace environment.
Luxembourg, Sweden and Norway made the list as did some of the usual suspects: the Netherlands, Iceland, Switzerland and Denmark.
But the number one happiest country for the fourth year in a row is Finland in large part for its education systems, experiential learning opportunities and equal opportunity.
