Food and Drinks Back on Airplanes

Remember flying before the pandemic, when so many of us labeled airline food as an oxymoron?

Then the airlines took all food service off their flights. And then we missed the food.

Now, some airlines are bringing their food and beverage services back.

Alaska Airlines has brought back hot entrees for transcontinental flights and first class flights to Hawaii.

Delta Airlines has resumed full beverage service with prepackaged cocktails, and first class hot meal service is set to resume on July 1st.

But if you want alcohol on Southwest or American Airlines, you’re out of luck. Both carriers have suspended the resumption of liquor due to a huge increase in the number of unruly passengers.
