Top Kid-Friendly Airports

Boston Logan International Airport: Facebook

When planning a family vacation, parents often pay attention to how kid-friendly the hotel is, but what about the airport?

You may spend more time there than you’ve planned.

So which airports have the best play areas, kid-friendly activities, WiFi access, and lounges?

Boston’s Logan International Airport could be the most kid-friendly airport in the U.S. with Kidsport play areas in three terminals. Even better, they are all near bathrooms. Logan also offers free WiFi.

Portland International comes in second, thanks to its multiple play areas before and after security that include Lego tables and a movie theater that plays kid-friendly short films.

San Francisco International Airport, Chicago’s O’Hare, and Hartsfield-Jackson round out the top five.

The least kid-friendly airport is Luis Muñoz International Airport in San Juan, due to its lack of WiFi and few play areas.
