Bonnie shared her story.

“No, this isn’t Niagara Falls. We live just north of Austin, and this is a completely iced-over shrub in our yard — one of the impacts of this week’s snow event/emergency in Texas. Every piece of landscaping in our whole rather lush area is coated in ice. We will all be busy recovering and hopefully replanting in April… but the current winterscape is certainly one to remember and to photograph. Few of us will ever forget Snovid-2021, and our hearts go out to everyone impacted by this polar-vortex-run-amok event.”
