In Africa, Namibia’s Sossusvlei Desert Lodge features stone villas with over-the-bed skylights for a one-of-a-kind stargazing experience. The lodge even has its own observatory with astronomers who point out constellations that are unique to the Southern Hemisphere.

In Finland, at the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, you get your own igloo to take in views of the northern lights through thermal glass ceilings.

Lastly, stop by L’and Vineyards in Portugal and enjoy wine as you stargaze at one of the darkest skies in Europe.

And closer to home, at Canyon Point Utah, the 600-acre Amangiri resort has suites with sky terraces that allow you unobstructed night sky views and to slumber under the stars.
