The state in the United States with the longest longevity is Hawaii, where residents have a life expectancy of more than 81 years.

Are you thinking of visiting Mississippi? The residents of that state have the shortest life expectancy at 74.5 years.

But the good news is that the average American lives to be nearly 79 years. And how about overseas destinations? The number drops to just 71.
