The Essentials

Airports and Airlines with Free WiFi

We’re all addicted to WiFi and we all want free WiFi when we travel.

But until recently, most U.S. airports charged for WiFi. Now, thankfully, some airports are changing.

Charlotte Douglas International, Dallas/Fort Worth. John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia, Newark, Dulles and Reagan National have upgraded to free WiFi.

Even the busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta, has become one, free hotspot.

Some airlines are offering free WiFi as well. JetBlue has the free service throughout the U.S. Qatar Airways offers complimentary super WiFi on select flights when you book online. And Turkish Airlines offers free connectivity to business class members.

Delta Airlines has announced its goal of being a totally free WiFi airline by the end of 2020.
