Do Americans Really Value Their Vacation Time?

How much do Americans value vacation time? And, what if you could put a price tag on vacation days?

According to a recent survey, half of working Americans would accept a job with no vacation time if they were paid more. But how much more? It would have to be a 48% bump in salary.

And what about the Americans who embrace the concept of unlimited time off?

One in three Americans in the survey said they they would give up a portion of their paycheck for unlimited vacation time.

But let’s not forget the other 50% of those surveyed. These Americans said they wouldn’t accept a job with zero paid time under any circumstances.

And perhaps the biggest surprise is that the largest group of Americans who’d give up all of their vacation time if they were paid more wasn’t the baby boomers. It was the millennials.
