Which Airlines Have the Best Coach Seats?

If you book an economy ticket on a flight, you can usually assume that your knees may be up against your neck.

But there’s some good news for those in the back of the bus.

In the latest rankings, a few airlines in Asia are actually doing a better job with coach seats.

Thai Airways’ economy class seats are often comparable to some business class seats on other airlines.

Singapore Airlines is also a good bet for a more comfortable flight in coach — on its airbus A380s — used primarily on long-haul flights. Its coach seats have adjustable headrests, USB charging ports, and 32 inches of seat pitch, which is above average for economy.
