CBS News Radio Announces The Distribution of “Eye on Travel” with Peter Greenberg

CBS News Radio announces the distribution of Eye on Travel, with Peter Greenberg, to its roster of programs. Eye on Travel is a new series of short and long form shows featuring  CBS’ Peter Greenberg.

CBS News Radio will be distributing two new shows from Greenberg, the Monday-Friday Eye on Travel Minute and a three-hour Eye on Travel weekend program. Both programs focus on innovative travel news, broadcasting from a different location around the world each week, taking listeners on a remarkable journey.

“We’re delighted to offer Peter Greenberg’s insightful programs and expertise to our affiliates and listeners,” said Craig Swagler, General Manager of CBS News Radio. “Peter brings a unique perspective to the world of travel and empowers listeners so that they may make informed decisions when traveling throughout the world.”

A multiple Emmy-winning investigative reporter and producer, Peter Greenberg is America’s most recognized, honored and respected front-line travel journalist.

“The stories we deal with are not about pretty pictures or glossy brochures, but about the real process of travel – stories like who has the best and worst security, maintenance, which frequent flier programs tell the truth, and the essential news people need to be better travelers,” said Greenberg.

The show will feature guests who are the real insiders in the travel industry – from CEOs to heads of state, as well as on-scene reporters covering breaking news and trends from destinations ranging from Boston to Bhutan, Cairo to Cleveland, Delhi to Dallas, and beyond.
