In case you didn’t know, every state has its own promotional or patriotic slogan.
Virginia “is for lovers.”
Texas has, “Go big or go home.”
And of course, “I love New York.”
But some states in their zeal to promote themselves have slogans that might produce the exact opposite desired effects.
How about Kansas’–“As big as you think.” Yes, this might be right. I’ve driven across that state.
Or Oklahoma “is OK.” Is it just OK?
And then there’s the latest most revealing one from Nebraska. “Honestly, it’s not for everyone.” I get the message…maybe I won’t go there!
