Travel Tip: Travel Tours That Will Make You Appreciate the Process

I’m a big fan of appreciating the process–to watch and learn about how things are made every time I travel.

And there are now some great destination and travel tours that satisfy my need to do just that.

In Easton, Pennsylvania, you’ll find the Crayola Factory. The tour might be kid friendly, but I love it.

There are four floors of interactive exhibits and the best thing is that you get to make and name your own crayon.

In Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, you get to watch them make Harley Davidsons. It’s a two-hour tour but you get to watch the entire process.

In Memphis, Tennessee, check out the Gibson Guitar tour but make reservations in advance.

And my two favorite tours, for obvious reasons, are the Ben N Jerry’s tour in Waterbury, Vermont (how many flavors can you watch or how many would you like to eat?) and then, watch Jelly Belly candies get made in Fairfield, California. Now, repeat after me: samples!
